Improving Florida's Intersection Safety and Decreasing Roadway Departures Webinar

The Florida Technology Transfer Center (T2 Center) teamed up with the Federal Highway Adminstration (FHWA) and Flordia Department of Transportation (FDOT) to present a three hour webinar on increasing intersection safety and decreasing roadway departures.  Over 50 registrants viewed the webinar with some agencies having mulitple viewers at their site. The presentations including emphasis of the Florida Strategic Highway Safety Plan and Every Day Counts initiatives. 

Participants of the webinar expressed interest in the Safety Edge lane departure countermeasure. Did you know that with the support of the FHWA the T2 Center is able to loan a Safety Edge attachment to local agencies?
