Intermediate Maintenance of Traffic

The Florida Transportation Technology Transfer (T2) Center is an approved provider for the Florida Department of Transportation Intermediate Maintenance of Traffic Course.

Target Audience:

All personnel who work in the traffic control zone and whose responsibilities include having direct control of: placing traffic control devices, placing flaggers, training flaggers and drafting or generating work zone controls plans. 

Description:

This 16-hour course provides FDOT/MOT qualification.  Requalification is required every four years.

The course covers information from the MUTCD Part 6 and the Florida Design Standards, Index 600 Series

Prerequisites:

Please bring your drivers license and a valid email to take the exam.

Certificates and Wallet Cards:

Certificates and Wallet Cards are valid for four years from the ending date of the class session.  No certificates or wallet cards will be available at the class session. A certificate and wallet card will be sent to the participants who have paid their course fee and have successfully passed the exam.  Any participant who does not achieve a passing score of 70% or higher will receive a letter indicating such. All questions on pass/fail or wallet cards are to be directed to the MOT Administrator at 813.419.1730
